The catalog was initially released between 2011 and 2012 via davidlynch.com as individual songs (priced $0.99) or discounted bundles. None of the 212 songs were —at least in their full-length form— previously included in the, and soundtracks. Rare Twin Peaks production stills appeared in the on David Lynch’s website, and Twin Peaks fan made beautiful, grungy for every track. There are currently no plans to release Twin Peaks Archive by Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch as a physical album, and they’ve been removed from davidlynch.com. But today, you can purchase of nearly 10 hours of music as a digital download for only US $9.90, or about 5 cents per track. Available file formats are MP3 with a bitrate of 320 kbps, or Apple Lossless. It is a true treasure trove of over 212 incidental music, cues, and longer songs not available on the existing soundtrack CDs. Quick scan of track times: shortest track is 31 seconds and longest is over 12 minutes. “Every day, once a day, give yourself a present”.

Upon its release, Soundtrack from Twin Peaks placed in several international charts—including the top 10 in Norway, Sweden, Australia and the Netherlands—and ' Twin Peaks Theme' received the award for.
